Description

St Peter’s Worcester yoga class on Monday mornings is suitable for beginners and intermediate yoga students. The class is also available online if you prefer just get in touch so the zoom link can be sent. This mixed ability class is a super start to the week if your schedule finds you available. St Peter’s Village Hall is set in the heart of St Peter’s Worcester community and is a great way to meet new people if you are new to the area. With parking freely available either in front of the building or at the large Tesco next door, you don’t need to worry about paying for parking. There also cycle-racks outside the studio and a great bus route running to and from the City Centre. However, there is also free parking in front of the building and on Tesco car park.

The breathing techniques include Kapalabathi breathing but options are given to students who wish to work up towards this more advanced breathing technique. The postures are tailored to suit all levels and so you would take the higher or lower option depending on how you feel on the day. Yoga is an intuitive practice so its important to listen to your body and experiencing discomfort mostly and never pain.

This yoga class always ends with short Yoga Nidra, a guided relaxation of 5 minutes. Please bring a blanket to get the most out of the short relaxation at the end of the class, primarily to make you cosier for the relaxation but also because the body temperature cools after we do the physical bit.
